If your child becomes sick at camp, we will contact you immediately. We cannot accept children at camp if they’re ill. Please let us know if they have recently had an illness or condition in case they are still infectious. If a child requires medication while at camp, please supply it in a well-labelled container and sign a medical consent form.
Our Camp Counselors all have CPR and First Aid training so are equipped to deal with accidents and illnesses.
Barracuda Kids Camp Counselors hold a current First Aid and CPR so are trained to administer an Epi-Pen in an emergency situation. Parents must inform the camp if their child carries an Epi-Pen and fill in the medical consent form.
The Camp Counselor will ensure the Epi-Pen is with your child at all times.
